Local Kansas City Flatbed Driver

Job Summary

Group One is looking for a local flatbed driver with a CDL Class A for a dedicated route in the Kansas City area. This driver will be home most nights during the week, and home every weekend. There are occasional overnight runs during the week, but never during weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operate company tractor and flatbed trailer around Kansas City, Missouri area
  • Loads are pre-loaded and tarped with a tarp bar at the shipper. Driver secures tarp as needed
  • Comply with instructions from dispatch team for pick ups and drop offs
  • Operate under DOT regulations to deliver loads on time
  • Communicate closely with safety and dispatch teams about issues

Qualifications and Skills

  • CDL Class A
  • 1 year of verifiable CDL Flatbed Driving Experience
  • We will review your MVR and PSP inspection history
  • No speeding tickets in last 3 years for greater than 15 mph over speed limit
  • No DUIs in past 5 years
